yes it was. i didn't imply it...i stated it! does it worry you at all that every time you type, you look like a fool? i mean, it doesn't worry me when i do it....but you?? your living depends on what people on here think of you. anyway...your problem. have you actually thought this through? how about, just to humour all of us....you tell us how your test with using carl's suggestion is going to work, exactly. yes..don't worry...we noticed.
pretty much. radar uses doppler and so the result is instant and accurate, gps is simply calculating the position from 3 or more visible satellites transmitting the time every second. there's more to it than that, but that paints a pretty close picture. so yeah, gps is little more than using markers on the side of the road to calculate, but going at a constant speed for more than a couple seconds with a good fix pretty much guarantees an accurate speed. as was mentioned earlier, you wouldn't use it to calculate acceleration etc, it can only provide backup support to proper radar or accelerometers. position accuracy is determined by your reciever and the clarity of your signal, there's no monkey business going on with the outputs anymore, too much stuff has been built around it. and yes, of course it's controlled my US Military, for some of you who think it's a gift from the gods which we've all deserved forever, accurate civilian gps abilities are actually quite new. the US Govt only switched off "Selective Availability" less than 7 years ago. prior to that they purposely degraded the signals and offset the transmissions so you had to know what differentials were required in order to get a reliable fix for anything than 200m accuracy. read this statement from the US President in May 2000: http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/FGCS/info/sans_SA/docs/statement.html
ok, thanks ash... so to further clarify.. I am right ( ) and also signal clarity to personal receiver can vary accuracy too...
clarity of signal is affected by atmosphere, basically, if it takes longer for the signal to get to your reciever from the satellite, (eg through clouds, low horizon) the less accurate it is.
thanks again... I think I get it now... all things considerd, it can be very good... but not 100% trustworthy.
depends what you're using it for if you have a signal it won't report a wrong position, it'll report nothing or tell you the last place it had one. i ran a project recording the position of nearly 8,000 bus stops and over 30,000 photographs around adelaide, when processes were followed correctly the data was excellent. human error is still the greatest flaw in modern computer systems.
yeah. They have a nice showroom and some interesting stuff. I don't get turned on by Porkers. Give me an Aston or Ferrari any day
that RSR is one of the best cars in Aussie with a great history 330hp and about 1050 kgs one fast car 11 inch rear wheels and 917 brakes.go on trade the BB365 and Dino and give em about 250k as well. I can be your bbbbbrokerrrrrrrrrr
why not reckon I can do a better job then the ones doing It.Give us say 10k and i will ring around to the Melbourne Ferrari dealer, thats th way they do it a'int it.
The deposit is not the problem..........the problem lies in the repayments. I wonder why they only give you 5 & 7 year car loans. They should give you 10 & 12 year car loans on exotic cars I reckon. Then average joes like me can afford them. NO WAY I could afford a F430/599 over 5 or 7yrs. Maybe 10yrs.
