Detroit Auto Show: What will Ferrari show?

Got this from a Ferrari dealers website:

The 2007 Detroit Auto Show will take place between the 13th and the 21st of January, and Ferrari will be displaying the entire 2007 line-up, including the new 599 GTB Fiorano in a special brand-new colour – Blu Petrolio. Ferrari are also proud to present the Risi Competizione F430 GT that won the 2006 American Le Mans Series GT2 championship.

 

The 599 on display at the show is Rosso Corsa.

 

And what is needed to get into the Ferrari area at the show? I'm a new owner and don't have an invitation. I tried registering on the Ferrari owners website but haven't received a reply...

 

I recieved an invite..intended to post it on here...I dunno if it'll work but it came via email from the Factory..

You send it back and they forward some type of .pdf to print....

 

Is it me or does the 599 has polished/chromed wheels ?

 

IIRC it was by day, so if anyone can use it let me know what day to request!

 

That Aston V8 looks stunning as a convertible, even in drab silver.

You're right, the Ferrari booth looked kind of lifeless. I wonder if Ferrari doesn't feel like shipping much product to Detroit.

A long time ago, many, many moons ago...Csaba was a good, honest journalist. Now he spends too much time rubbing shoulders and getting perks from the Big Three. I can't remember the last time I read something of his (or saw him on TV) and didn't think it sounded like he was regurgitating some press release.

 

I finally got registered on the Ferrari owners site, in there is a link to print out a pdf invitation.

 

For those who haven't gotten the invite just call the Ferrari concierge or your local Ferrari dealership. They should be able to help. I have my invite, but with 2 extra buddys coming. Hopefully they will let them in anyway.
