I like it, I hope it doesnt have all the electronic crap the M5 and M6 have. I hope the M division did what they did with the Z4M, took the silly electric stuff out and made a great car.
I've seen a few driving around (a four-door as well) and they sound pretty nice... I think the look will grow on me once I drive it.
I love how the side gills/grilles are all covered up. Ooohh, super secret! Can't let those ricers see what they are going to be putting on their Hondas quite yet.
I am not much of a BMW styling lover(yeah they pretty much suck), but I did watch Randy Pobst drive Porsche Club cars around Blackhawk Farms, and an M3 destroyed all in his hands, including many GT3s!
I like the aggressive front fenders. I think it's better looking than the last few new Bimmers. It might end up not too bad.
That looked abnormally aggressive. Very well possible that that is indeed the direction bmw is heading. Although, perhaps that is a vehicle testing a prototype ac schnitzer body kit? Looks like there is a lot of inspiration from the schnitzer tension 6 series. Just a thought....
I don't know if Bangles designs are looking better to me, or if I am just getting used to it, kind of like your wife getting fat.
I hated the new BMWs when they all came out, but I am really starting to like them, especially the new 335i.
I kinda like it. I think they should keep the black rims. Those are beautiful. What is with the rear though? Its like the designer put all his work into the front of the car and forgot about the rear.
Now that is what I'm looking forward to. The Limousine version. Just like it was available on the late E36 M3s. As for the design, frankly I never had a problem with Bangles', except the X3. That SAV is hideous.
The e39 and 346 were both so well integrated and attractive designs its a shame the direction bmw is going. Won't be one in my garage.
I am rather happy with the latest 3 series, etc. and again the only car I hate is the X3. And that new M3 looks awesome Tim
It'll definately debut at Geneva in March. These are the exact type of pictures that came out just a month or so prior to the 335s first press release. Can't get the M3, but my 335 is due to start production next month.
It just debuted at Detroit. Or are we talking finished product versus "in the works" release? Seems the inside word on the bimmer boards is Geneva will be where the overall design/concept will debut, but final car in the fall.
