Saw a nice dark blue/black 400 on the Sat night at Balmain, plates crusin (or something like that). Also saw a blue 355 conv. and a red 360 on the same night.

 

just saw a red 430 hair spec drive past my joint in port melb.


they are becoming a diamond dozen.. just like benz 10 years ago....


now ive gone and done it..

 

saw my first ferrari in months or something... back end of a mondial going into rundle st tonight.

saw the first 599 in brisbane yesterday , black with that sabba ? colour interior . didn't look any good in black . me thinks red is the go

 

I have seen black in pics and it looks great IMO. But red in pics looks ALOT better IMO also. Red/tan for pappy.

 

That darker red from EVO test is the best colour for 599 me thinks, but the black from pics I have seen looks the goods too ie:

What is sabba?

 

the different rims and the lips help a little , but black is **** in person . sabba is that light brown colour , ****en hard to keep clean , that's for sure . gekko got it in his 430

When ever i hear T/R, i think of the one i rescued in King Steet Melb. in the early 90's.It was July 17th, a Sunday, as its my birthday on that date
and family went to a Chinese resturant for lunch.

So wont forget the date.Always brings a smile when i pass that exact spot in King Street.[Just up from the Nightclubs for reference]

It belonged to Floyd Podgornik,a property developer [who latter killed himself over a female] and it was stopped on the side of the road with its huge bonnets opened.

I pulled up in the RangeRover and asked what was wrong, he said some light and/or similar was left on and made the battery flat.I said no problem, hit the hazard lights jumped out got out the jumper-leads [before knowing that doing this can fry the electrics in vehicles, dinoplex and all that] and we both searched for the battery, found in the front and jumped started it for him.

He was a happy chap and offered me $50 which i refused, i just asked him to thrash it as he took off which he did and that was the best present of the day....

Sad, he killed himself latter due to a hsit fight with some tart.Note sure what happened to the T/R but his ex purchased some famous resturant from memory???

are you sure that's the reason? i always thought it was because he lost all his money.

 

I think it was'nt just 1 thing, but a number of issues he had.

His wife was going to take him to the cleaners, his mistress had lost interest in him, like you said, his business was in a spiral downwards, could be others things too, who knows.

Maybe he did drugs, maybe he was doing a INXS/M.H self gratification stimuli?

Anyway, it was'nt over a T/R flat battery, thats for sure....
