    Hi Nathan

I have my engine out of my boxer at the moment for belts and water pump - a job I am doing myself. The engine is due to go in at the weekend though, as I am on a tight schedule due to business commitments. What pictures do you need? I've taken soem as I've gone along and could email them to you but is your mailbox big enough?

If you need something specific then let me know.

    Simon

    Hi Simon
thanks for the reply - timing is great - 2 or 3 photos of the engine before it goes back in would be great. Just looking for photos of the complete engine. Mailbox will take 10mb - so should be OK
    Nathan

    Good day Dave,

I am curious if you noticed any significant performance change with these pistons as compared to the stock ones. Further, have you noticed any negative issues?
    Cheers,
    Sam

Candidly, there has been no downside...

On the upside, the car is much more drivable and appears to have more bottom end grunt. Between the Tubi and the hi-compression pistons, the carbs did require a fair amount of re-jetting. In a odd sort of way, she seems more "docile" when just cruising. However, now more than ever, when you hit the load pedal, she pushes you back very, very hard...

    Regards,
    David
