I've noticed that too. They always over price everything on that show. I guess it just makes it more impressive to the "bling bling" set.

Yeah I really like that 170K Noble.... sad. He said he was the first customer on the LP640 in the US. And if he paid 700k and all those other prices for those cars, he is the biggest sucker.

They've always got car prices wrong on their, as well as other fact - when they featured Richard Branson on their show, they said he had some special one-off Breitling watch costing $150k or something - saying that it has special tracking equipment incase he gets kidnapped, etc. When I mentioned this to someone who knows about watches (I think it may even have been on here) they said it's a perfectly standard watch available from any Breitling dealer...

 

Nobles can not be imported to the US as complete cars and be legally registered. They are imported without engine/transmission and classified as kit cars so that they can be legally driven. Engine/transmission are installed here in the US and you're good to go.

 

i was just saying that to my girl about how high he said he paid.

he wanted to look like a "baller" that spends all kinds of money, but anyone like us or knows ANYTHING about cars laugh about how unknowledgable he is or how much of an idiot he is.

he is a sucker or a fronter - something isn't right there.

he means nothing to me, especially the fact that 4 or 8 of those cars DID NOT have a license plate. i think he was playing a "mtv cribs" deal and renting cars for the show. or dealerships were letting him front like they were his because he is a good customer.

Thats also so how the couple registered Diablo GTRs got into the US. They arrived in pieces, and were assembled upon arrival and registered as kit cars.
