I'm with Matthew... why do you guy's not believe him???

I'm sure Michael can post pics of all his previous Ferrari's, and would gladly post the VIN of the F40 he owned for 2 weeks.

Come on Michael... prove Matthew (and me) right...

(See Matthew... no gay dogs in this post!)

Dont worry mate. :) I am very lucky and blessed to have a 348 at 25yrs old. An Enzo at 23yrs old is NUTS. :D What it would be like to have money. :p
I wish him all the best with the Enzo and I cant wait to see pics of it. :)

Hi Matt mate :) normally i would have agreed with you mate but not on this occasion.

    1. He has bought an Enzo and was concerned about insurance costs and companies laughing at him, yet has owned an F40, CS,430,several 360's? why not insure with the same company?

    2. The power of the F40 scared him? well why buy an Enzo and an MC12 then?

    3. He will not post the VIN or any other details? if i had bought an Enzo at 23 the whole world and its brother would know the VIN and details.

And those three are just a few things i found odd about this story, if it turns out to be true then i will be the first to apologise :) but i dont think that will be happening anytime soon :)

LOL Another good point, It has done a grand total of 883km's and has been meticliously serviced and maintained by Ferrari, how many services would 883km's entail?

There's also the matter of the speedo. I believe UK cars have to have MPH speedos. Can be change for $ but is a UK resident allowed to register a LH car if a RH version was produced?

I'm sure my friends at PF could convert a LH into a RH but it would not be for free...

There are a few Enzos in the UK but they were ordered specifically for the UK market, it is not only the speedo but also the headlights, foglights, reverse lights plus several other things that would need to be changed? why not just buy a UK registered car to begin with?

If i'm not wrong you can drive LHD or RHD in Japan as well, I remember seeing both types of cars when I was there.
Here in Singapore though where it is strictly RHD, there is only one Enzo and sadly it cannot be driven due to that law.. :(

No. As long as the car matches RHD driving norms like lights for example. (UK). Otherwise it would be a bigger fuss to import km tacho-ed japanese RHDs, and LHD cars. Since the beginning of xenon lights the beam can be adjustable at the workshop (i am right here?), before it was a matter of replacement or stupid lightsticker.

edit: seeing how many enzos there are in UK, of course you can drive LHD... .

UK spec?? I understand that they would probably have to adhere to the UK safety design rules ect.......All Enzo's were LHD. No RHD drive cars built from factory. :) As Napolis just posted, they can be converted to RHD. Cost an arm and a leg I can imagine. Can you register LHD cars over there? :)

Thats right mate. Australia also RHD. There are two Enzo's here in Australia. Lindsay Fox has one. His Enzo was ordered new with custom yellow painted roof (to match his trucking company) from the factory and it is LHD. 100% LHD car. If he could have got it RHD from factory, I am sure he would have. In Australia, you can drive and resgister LHD cars when they are 30yrs old. :) Hopefully by then, I will be able to afford one. :p

Why does anybody care? So what if he gets his jollies saying that he bought an Enzo? If you think he didn't, ignore him. If you think he did and it's praiseworthy, praise him. The act of buying something is really not noteworthy.
Buying it and sharing it with the community via photos and in local cases physically with fellow Fchatters is something different.
The correct attitude here is indifference. Let the thread die and move on.
Fchat is getting to be a very snippy place these days.
