My red UT GTS did the exact same thing yours did: the windshield clouded. It makes me angry every time I look at it. The same thing happened on the headlight covers of my UT 550.

nnn: That blue GTB must be beyond rare as I have never seen one for sale. I hope I do see one one day (and I hope it isn't $500!)

Michael: are the circled 355s the Mini Miniera ones that were only made in lots of 350? Partial screen cap from Scale18.com. I've always been curious about those 355s...I picked up the Biostife and Slushpuppie 355Cs (UT base) from Cavallino a couple of years ago, but I have never seen the 1/350 ones and were wondering if those were what you had.

I have also the same problem on my UT 55O (headlight covers only) ! as well as on two others cars from my collection (ertl 275 and Jouef 250).
My six UT 355 were bought around the same time several years ago and (fortunately) only the GTS developed the problem after a while. I have no idea why since they are all exposed under the same conditions.

It is definitely an aging problem. It was perfect when I bought it , then the windshield became progressively opaque

They are based HW, not LMM version, I only have 2 F355s are 1/350 LMM version, it is Biostife and Baso... but I do have LMM F50GT

I also have a page of the LMM Ferrari : http://www.procarz.com/lmm.html

    wow...that is bizarre.

I've been a diecast collector since the 1980s..and had diecast catalog/mail order/ internet businesses from 1992 -> 2004. Out of the literal 10,000s of diecast models that have gone through my hands...i've never ever ever seen that.

Strangely I have bought used diecast as well as bought about 1000 UT models and stored them. I had at one point 200+ 355 UT models sitting for years in my warehouse...and still....not one single model ever had this happen.

What could this be? Sun? humidity? chemical agents? (like using windex or something to clean them?)

I still have a collection of 500+ models and would hate to see this happen
