OK... small crisis resolved. (Rob Lay, I understand your pain!)

Stuff is propagating through the net. If somebody could check the site in an hour or so, hopefully it'll be back and running.

Thanks for the update! Believe me, I'm watching the dang thing too. Sadly, it wiped out my email too.

The problem had nothing to do with the host. The site and all content is still running just fine. The domain name had expired... and sadly, the 'auto renew' didn't kick in.

It's all fixed, and we're just waiting for the nameserver stuff to propagate around the world.

    :(

Tell me about it!! All the notices about domain expiration were being sent to a dead email, and the damn registrar never bothered to pick up the phone and call me. We had the domain registration with one company, and the hosting with another company.

Happily, it has been moved elsewhere and booked for many many years. I will give a HUGE 'thank you' to my hosting company (not the registrar). My hosting company is Chain Reaction Web (www.chainreactionweb.com). Their customer service is simply incredible, and they helped with the whole process -- calling me, walking me through configuration screens, etc. Whenever I need help, these guys respond *fast*, 24/7/365. We pay a whole lot per month for hosting, and I feel it is well worth the money.

Multiple times they have moved the Ricambi site to a new server, in an effort to get me the best possible speed for the money. Really, they go out of their way to help. For the moment, I'm quite happy with the server speed, etc.

Thanks for everyone's patience. It was actually Morry (collectorstudio) that alerted me to the problem late last night. How's that for the brotherhood of Fchat sponsors?!? I suppose I need to buy another goodie from him now :)
