At least we will get to see it in the video when that comes out! Unless lawsuits prohibit the cars clips from being used.
most realistic story I can come up with is that the dealership has to order new parts, so the car will be gone for 6 months...
no...They weren't happy with the skirting and tail lights, so they sent it to Pimp My Ride where it will be on a one year publicity tour and photos cannot be released.
just trying to help him cover every angle.....I think we've brought some excuses he hasn't used yet, lol.
Looks like my post got deleted here.. In short; in one way, shape, or form, I've worked providing several cars to music video shoots / tv shows and the longest a production company has ever taken a car for a video shoot is 2 days. Production companies are cheap, they would never spend $30k for a car for a single video- and more importantly, never film a video for a month straight.. In and out. An example; one of the video's I worked on this summer for the Diplomats (JR Writer and Juelz Santana): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWPNmFfuHRQ We provided that Vanquish. They borrowed it from ~2-3 in the afternoon until 9 at night- they only needed it for about 15-20 minutes of actual filming but had to wait for it to get dark to shoot. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I call BS.
The pics of the GTC were posted..but they got lost in the FChat crash.. Appearantly Vic was also lost.
Vic, I personally believed your dad was getting this car but WTF... time to finish the dump, wipe your arse, flush, and post some pics already... 6 friggen weeks... jeez!
the car is coming tomorow and I will post pics as soon as i can guys. Be patient. i am only going to post pics and then this thread is over.
In the epilogue, it would actually be prudent to silence your critics with as much throroughness as the original post.
Yep, and that's me screwing around. JR Writer was a very cool guy to work with- as it turns out, I ran into him a week later and we ended up racing on the West Side Highway (I was in a C6 ZO6 and he was in his Dodge SRT Charger). Regardless, to my knowledge, there's no way that any music video will/can take a month to shoot. Looking forward to these pictures..
