Has he tested for the team since January 1? I believe that is when he is free of his Renault contract.

I am in no hurry to see him any car at all. I would gladly wait to March to see him in his new suit.

Does anyone think Mclaren will be competitive this year? I personally think Kimi and Felipe will take most of the wins, with a couple between Heiki and Fisi. Also, maybe the one freak win under odd circumstances by Honda or BMW.

I think Ferrari is less likely to do well this year than in any year of the past 8 or so. New driver, huge changes on the management side and design side. Huge uncertainty for Ferrari this year. Same as McLaren. Same with Renault. Honda could do a huge jump, same drivers, solid design team. It could be their year this time.

No, the only thing that improved at McLaren was having Alonso come in. Their engines suck, they have fallen behind Ferrari and Renault in that top top tier and have fallen down a tier and are now equal with Honda. McLaren will be in a heated battle for 3rd with Honda. Agreed with majority of wins to KR and FM I'm guessing 12, with Renault getting 3, Alonso miracously getting 2, and Honda gettin another, followed by Super A with the rest.

So what makes you think Mclaren will be that competitive? They weren't even able to win a race last season, and their reliability as of late is notorious. Yes Alonso is probably the best overall on the grid, but even he can't make an unreliable car reliable. Combine this with the fact that maybe the fastest driver is in the fastest/most reliable car? Goodbye Mclaren...
