If the car is loading up something is wrong. There should be no way on an injected Ferrari you can do it unless something is wrong.

Bosch CIS injection nozzles are a very cheaply built part and were never envisioned to be a lifetime part. It was intended by Bosch that they be changed periodically even though it was never a line item in Ferrari service schedules. Unfortunately for us the nozzles price has gone through the roof. That does not change the fact that they need replacement or at least serious cleaning and testing. I can also tell you from direct experience that there are two things that destroy their ability to do their job well and that is water in the fuel and non-use. Depending on where you live water may not be a problem but long periods of non-use and simple age almost certainly is.

Your symptoms can be explained by a number of things. First thing I would do would be to check each bank with an exhaust analyzer, pre-cat and see whats going down the tail pipes.

Origanal question was what to use to clean the engine. My mechanic recomends Justice Brothers oil treatment in the fuel system as well as the oil. There are two types of product, and you want to use the stuff that is like water in consistancy. The bad one is like honey. This stuff really works great on the insides of the engine cleaning the valves etc. Add it to about a gallon of gas left in the car and run it all thru. Then fill up with fresh gas.

Well and good but if it is a fuel system problem nothing poured in the tank will fix it.

I agree, was just suggesting a cleaner if anyone felt it was needed.
