    I would like to get one. Finding one that is cool and available is the hard part. Any suggestions? I have NOMONI on my 308 replica. Wondering if I should transfer it to me 348. NOMONY is taken. Not as cool with the Y though. Looks cool with the I. Seems the only way is to think up a bunch and ask the DMV if any are available. Could be a long process.

    I was going to do the same thing when I bought my 348. I found it really hard to find something that was 'half cool', so I went with PAP 348. Original huh? :p We are only allowed 6 letter plates here. Costs us AU$2200 for the pleasure of having "Prestige" plates. :rolleyes: Alot of good combos are already taken. I did not want to get anything too cheesy, thats why I stuck with PAP 348. :):)

    We have 7 numbers/letters now. Years ago it was only 6 in Wisconsin.

    Why would I put KIT CAR on my 348?

    My 308 replica is - in a sense - not a kit car. It is a Pontiac Mera. Build by Corporate Concepts in Capac Michigan. Sold only as a new car at Pontiac dealers. Never sold as a kit nor installed on a used Fiero. People molded off Mera's to make kit cars. Only 247 Mera's were made in 87 and 88. Ferrari litigated them to make them stop.

    Now don't start a kit car war. I bought this car and started making kit and Fiero parts. My business has done me well so now I can afford a real Ferrari. A 348 TS. My Mera is not for sale. I put too much into it to sell it. Kind of neat now to have a replica and a real one. Too bad my girlfriend does not drive a stick shift or we could take both to some car shows to show a fake and a real one. That would be neat.

    Mera, try using numbers that look similar to the letters you want - example:
    "N0MONE7"

    I saw this one (or very similar) on another thread (it was on a Lambo somewhere in the EU, I believe) - thought it was cool:
    "FANTA57"

    More thoughts:

    HI all,

    How bout Mtl Syrn .......... It should read, metal syren, or metal siren if you will, it's just that with the y it should bring out the word siren better I think....

    I like the standard plate with something Ferrari related.

    In my case we're 3 #'s and 3 letter's, so I had the agent get a 348 with any letter combination (I'm not a KKR investor :D)

    I once saw a P car in Sydney with "ORGA5M" as the plate. I was very surprised they allowed that....
