Foster's is pretty well hated Downunder, isn't it? I have a colleague from Oz who said you export every bottle of it immediately.

It was really popular in the 80's, which is what I am told by some former drinkers of the stuff back then. But they said it slowly turned to sh*t and no one drinks it anymore. I have tasted it and it tastes like warm wombats piss. :D:D
They have some new "limited edition" Fosters aluminium bottles in blue that look cool. But I am sure it still tastes like warm wombats piss. :p:p

I like Fosters here, it needs to be ice cold in a frosted glass, has a good flavor compared to American beer or Mexican cervesas.

Sounds like I should try some warm wombats piss as well, no wombats here though :)

Good news is you buy the wombats once, they piss for quite a while. They won't drink Fosters, though.

The good news in North America is that the Fosters you find here is brewed in Toronto. Australian legacy + American marketing + Canadian brewing = 1 mediocre beer.

On the first of my five visits to Aussieland, I ordered a Foster's beah at lunch. The table went quiet and somebody advised me to order, instead, a VB. I did and never turned back. It is about the same story in Mexico with Corona, there is a reason so much of it is imported to the States.

Sam Adams is touted as a great beer with many awards, that stuff tastes like rat piss IMO, American beers, Bud, Michelob and such have no flavor and taste stale IMO, Coors regular is a decent beer but must be cold.

Heavy beers like Fat Tire and such are like eating a huge meal with each beer, way too thick.

I'll take my Fosters warm Wombat Piss compared to the above, thank you very much.

I've often said there is no such thing as bad beer... only better. But there are so, so many better ones. Smithwick's, anyone?

VB is the best IMO. XXXX Gold tastes like water and XXXX heavy is a little better than Gold. VB tastes just right. I have never tasted Stella, but that name is not going to make me run out and buy some. :D:D

Here in the states the crapiest beer ever is called 'Pabst Blue Ribbon' (vinegar tastes better).Maybe you should rename VB 'Paps Blue Ribbon', nice ring to it huh!
BTW, Fiorano, you look cool in the ride man, you'll have to shoot the same picture a few years from now when you get your first "F" car.
