Hi All, I'm planning on doing a little trip across Europe in July / August with a few friends but I've never driven or ridden in Europe before so haven't got a clue about the best roads. I've been tasked with organising the route so the guys can book hotels, etc once we have a better idea of where we are going. Has anyone ridden or driven across Europe before? We'd like to end up in Monte Carlo as the mid way point with a rest day and the plan is to definitely do Route Napoleon en-route. Being bikers the motorways don't really appeal but the twistier the better. Are there other other good roads that are a must? The max sort of mileage we'd like to do is 350 per day and we are leaving the UK on a Thurs morning returning the next Weds. Does this sound like enough time to cover the south part of France and get back to Calais? Thanks in advance for any feedback. Kam
Hi Kam sounds like a fun trip. Unfortunately my knowledge is further east than you will be travelling. Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Italy. Perhaps one of the French memebers can point you in the right direction.
Cheers Simon, I was with the rest of the group last night trying to finalise the towns we'd like to pass. Will post a mini route later this week but need to know the best to join the dots.
