348 Track Video Camera Mount

I'm looking for a place to mount a vid camera for an upcoming track day. I don't want to drill into the interior finishes if I don't have to.

Not too many places to mount without drilling holes.

 

If you have the mouse belts, take the cover off the center mount & use the bolts that hold down the shoulderbelt reel.

 

PM Walclare, he had one yesterday on the UK 348 run. Looked like a suction mount on the rear window.

It works well, is a professional mount so can be used on outside of vehicle as well, although Sy had one fall off I think, I never have had any trouble. Sound works better with an external mic up to front window I found. Look at vids from meet yesterday to see it in action.

 

Just make small aluminum brackets that "clam shell" the right head rest pillars on the seat. Solid mounted video on track and removal leaves no holes, marks or mods...
