Its snowing here right now. Started at 2 PM and it isn't over yet.. I'm happy! The current weather is 23 degrees and it should be going down tonight after it stops snowing.

20's? What's up with that, I'm flying in to Austin for a few days, thought I'd get away from the snow. catch up on my tan, have a brewski on a patio under the Texas sun, make some $'s... Although 20's isn't so bad :D

20 degrees is nothing if you're used to it.

It's been single-digit almost non-stop here for about 5 days now. When I was driving to Colorado Springs Saturday morning, it was -9

P.S. My car's heater is broken.

Perhaps you forget that this is 20 degrees Fahrenheit we're talking about here. Your strangely straight-forward Canadian system is not used down here. Think -5 to -8 Celsius. Unusually cold for us Texas boys (and girls).

ahh - yeah, I've heard of Fahrenheit, grew up with it as a kid. can even do some of the conversions. You mean the patios'll be closed at 20F? I'll have to repack.

But what's this about boys - I heard Texans were born MEN with boots, spurs, hats and six-shooters pre-installed, and Caddie's with horns waiting in the hospital parking lot?

Sounds like I've got some learnin' to do.

I've been getting over the flu so I've been camped inside where it's nice & warm. I did go out today & run some errands, it's been in the mid 20's but not ready that bad.

Yeah John, I was coming home from the hobby shop around 5pm at Judson and Nacogdoches....When I got home, my car was already icing over. My other 3 vehicles at home were already frozen, lol. I'm about to head into work at 9pm, so this should be interesting.

60s today and 31high/17low tomorrow but I am looking forward to it being below freezing. i have been wading ankle deep in mud feeding the horses. at least if it freezes the ground will be solid for day or two. Typical weather for KY though. If you don't like the weather stick around it will change in 15 minutes.

    Don't be a wuss!

J/K. Even if I feel miserable, I still love the cold. It's a nice change from these hot Texas days.
