Sure Sean wants to go horseriding? The last time I tried, my groin hurts so bad that I had to walk 'ka-kui-kui' (Hokkien) for the next few days, as though I had 'tua LP' (Hokkien expletive).

    Dear Jon,

Even if it's of no use to you right now, I forgot to tell ya why the M5's motor feels willing to rev but 'drops' a bit lazy..er..something like that.. Beemers tend to have the 'flywheel' effect on their motors, even on them higher revving units. The flywheel is heavy but makes for a smooth engine. The cure is to lighten the FW, but at a certain cost..engine will feel less gutsy and ain't so smooth as original.

Er..someone asked what's GTG...? It's actually as answered but methinks in this thread it should mean Get The Gallardo!

Congrats to everyone who's buying one....

Isk, the M5 already got lightened flywheel, Ctr force clutch, Dinan chipped, Bilstein shocks with H&R rear & Dinan front springs. Strut bar & all TBs tuned by agent. He's got a spare set of tri-flow cats & exhaust but too loud for his liking. Engine overhauled 20K km ago & a bare metal re-spray. I'm saying this in case our Fong will take over the knightship :) It's too good a car to miss & besides, I found a spare M5 trans by chance for S$3.5K here! It'll be good to ditch the heavy electric Recaros.

I'm using my 911 today. This feels so light, so sharp, so nimble, revs freely & all round visibilty is superb. On the Gallardo, other than the stadium view front, nothing much left to see behind or sides which makes it dangerous as I move around in city daily. I've had a few near-misses on my Ferraris because of blind spots.

I like your decipher on GTG.

I think the agents have underestimated the power of internet & forums. In a matter of few weeks we've converted some owners to sway their decisions.

Someone suggested me to try the 360CS too which was on my lust list sometime back while Marcus has offered me a deal on his RS.

Money money money, give me money..... :D

Oh O, someone's looking @ something else. Actually I have a liking for Bentley too! Things like Arnage, red label etc & there's one for sale last week if I'm not wrong.

I have a copy of Evo which did a comparism between Gallardo, 997Turbo & GTC.

imho, i always felt the 911 gave me more confidence with grip and agility. maybe by virtue of the fact that it is more compact than my F car. but for overall power, fun and pull factor factor, i am sold on F cars.

I'll try to post scans of it for everyone to read. Gallardo came out best so did the 997, both 5 stars. GTC or GT came up 4.

I'm right about the Gallardo, the writer commented on the half inch freeplay on the brake pedal & that abrupt downshifts on low speed but extremely balanced chassis, superb grip & power.

Anyway, I'm sold on the G car & now trying to raise funds through some con-job charity. Anyone want to chip in? Hell, I even have a 1:64 in exact colour & specs on my table now!

If it doesn't come through, I'll still buy one later part of the year & one with the lifter would be good.

I'm quite sure another guy here has converted his faith too!

But I'll still be back on the Fcar that is....whatever it maybe in future.
