    Hello

My name is Kris Moran, I am working on a feature film which is being
directed by Wes Anderson. He is the director of the films: Rushmore, Bottle
Rocket, The Royal Tenenbaums, and Life Aquatic. The movie being made now is
called Darjeeling Ltd. starring Adrian Brody, Owen Wilson and Jason
Swartzman. We will be shooting in LIC NY for 3 days during the second week
    in Feb ( 6th 7th 8th).

I am hoping to find a club member who might
    1: own a BMW, Porsche, or Mercedes-Benz
2: be interested in having it in a movie

The cars do not need to be driven in the film.
They will work as set dressing at an German auto repair shop.
We can also offer a carrier / flat bed service to pick them up.
We do not have tons of money on this project like sometimes -
And unfortunately do not have the usual fees to offer.
    We are fully insured etc.

Anyone interested can contact me, email me photos @ [email protected]
or by phone@917 650 6076 with any questions.

    Many Thanks,
    Kris Moran

heh you would think if there were money involved a smart wholesaler would jump on this. If they cant afford the $1200 to rent from gotham or even less to rent a lesser car from a competitor, then they must be working with a limited budget!

    on a serious note, i don't think they're offering more than $300.
but they will feed you and "entertain" you
    EDIT: $200.
    But potentially 3 days....so $600.

David! Long story. The guy working on it committed suicide over the holidays (RIP) and my dad is trying to locate the parts to it. I was thinking of making a post, since several guys on here rec'd trusted 356 experts. My dad is getting really depressed about the whole project, though. I don't want to nag him since he's got other things going on.

I'm really sad about it, but it's his car, his deal.

Holidays can be a tough time... Not that this is any justification, but sometimes it seems like everything can go to hell right then, and the fact that everyone around you is celebrating something magnifies the misery...
I've heard of this happening a few times, actually... Anyway, sad.

Yeah I have spent a few holidays by myself. I'd never go that far, but it can be a terrible downer - going home from a Christmas party by yourself and driving past all the lights and decorations. And I'm a loner for the most part, so it MUST be bad for others hehe.

Anyway, this guy's son is a stand up kid, and my dad is respecting the family's space and not pushing anything at the moment. What's a car in the grand scheme of things.
