There are other classic cars that I prefer more than the 575. So last millenium. I liked the 550/575 when it was an improvement over the 456...

I think that 599 is much better than 575 becouse 575 is outdated and the 599 is something new to the industry of cars !

    575. Not even close. Saw one at the off-airport parking facility early last week - almost a black metallic with sabbia interior. Long nose, muscular haunches, prettiest headlights of the modern era and an imposing rear profile.

I saw a red 599 on Sunday and the styling still looks too noncommittal, almost bland IMO - obviously the place to be is in the driver's seat.

I think if the 575 was the newer car more people would vote for it.

599; My only complain, though, is, that it's pretty high, compared to many cars - Not very sporty, i think... It's still the second-best car in the world - next to the one ferrari still havn't made ;)

Tight voting, despite posting it in the 599/612 forum, Would seem the 550/575 still has a following after all.

On looks alone, I'd take the 456 over either of them (not on performance, though!)

The 599 is beautiful, but its no match for the 550/575 in terms of beauty.

Mixed feelings, that picture of the black 575 with deep dish rims, looks better than any 599 I have seen. However if its a stock 575 vs a 599 (so long as it has challenge wheels, not the star style ones) the 599. Hands down

it's a black 550 but it's the same global styling...
it's very difficult because the 550/575 is a classic but I think the 599 will become an other in a few years !
    My vote : 599 ! and it's my last word !

I say the 575M, IMO everything design wise has been...going..eh...downhill, after the Enzo was introduced. No offence to anyone!!! All personaly opinion.

When I first saw the 550 Maranello I thought it was sensational; easily the most gorgeous Ferrari ever produced. It provoked lustful thoughts and dreams of one day being able to purchase one. I feel the same way about the F599 now, the only difference is that the dream will come true...

Very true about the newness factor. People always love what's new best. In ten years the answers will be interesting.

I personally think the 599 is more of an achievement in design, similar to the Enzo.

The 599 is a very complex, sophisticated work of art yet they pulled the various individual parts together to form a seamless masterpiece.

The 575 was considerably easier to execute. This certainly does not diminish its beauty and status.

Both are very beautiful but the 599 pulls ahead because it was such a difficult, daring and flawless achievement.

Side-by-side, the 599 makes the 575 look "classic", in the most flattering but condescending sense of the word.

The 575M was so beautiful the first time I saw it; as such, it easily got old.

I hated the 599 the first time I saw it, and now I love it. I think the 599 will survive the times much longer, and this is just one manifestation of that. I think it's hard for a car to both be loved for a long time and gather an initial positive reaction.

I agree, first time I saw the 599 I was like, hmmmn. But it grows on me. That picture in black is stunning, first time I have thought that, I still have reservations in bright red.

But next to each other the 575 looks IMHO, a little slab sided compared to the so contoured and sophisticated face of the 599.

    Tough choices....

550/575 has simple, flowing elegance of lines (i.e. Boxer :)) whereas 599 is noticeably more imposing (i.e. TR).

Having said that, I still prefer the older Ferraris. Any of these modern beasts will relegate the owners to dealership dependency for everything but a wash and wax.
