Me Too ... I guess Seasome Street has gotten alittle more 'realistic' since I was a kid! ... I keep hearing Cookie Monster's voice saying that ... and I break out laughing again!

I recently graduated from Queen's (economics) and moved to downtown Toronto. Cars have always been my passion and I'd really like to make a career out of it. I ran a small online performance parts business when I lived down in Florida and I've recently imported a few vehicles that I sold for a decent profit (Skylines from Japan and some other vehicles from the US). Eventually I'd like to run my own small dealership or vehicle importing business. At this point I'm very flexible (compensation/hours) and I really just want to get some experience in the automotive business. Can anybody suggest how to get started? I'm relatively new to the city and I don't have too many contacts in the area yet. Thanks in advance, Peter
Ok fine. Surely we can come to an agreement. How about my jean "hot pants". You know, the one Rick likes?
Ideally I would like to work for a smaller car dealership in order to learn the business. Eventually I would like to open (or become a partner in) a car dealership selling performance cars. I have imported and sold several personal vehicles over the past few years with decent success. I really think the market and profit margins are ample for a successful importing business. As far as the actual job, I would be happy with anything... whether it's part-time/full-time, selling cars, running errands around the city, delivering cars, updating websites, etc... whatever makes me useful. I believe we exchanged a few PMs regarding opening a small dealership back in November, but I've put those plans on hold until I learn more about the business.
Yes, of course. I remember. I may be able to help you if you want a sales job. There are many sales jobs out there. The problem, many are crap! That's what pushed me to go on my own and I never looked back. I will get back to you once I find a decent lead. V..
