Ho no ! instead of a prancing horse you now have a load of bull :) ??

Any car can sell - just the price - so did you get a good price for your cars ? I hear eurosports will do great trade in deals (sometimes at a loss) to shift their cars - I guess your one of them ?

I guess its ultimately a good way to dump all your cars at once - HS is not likely to do these deals however since as it is there is already insufficient F cars.

Anyway good luck on your new buy which I am sure you will enjoy ... until you see someone drives by in a 430 or 599 and the regret sets in ;) !

Powerful but I feel this is a more poetic interpretation of the same idea:

"Sound, sound the clarion. Fill the fife.
    Thorughout the sensual world proclaim,
One crowded hour of glorious life,
is worth an age without a name."

    Thomas Mordaunt

That's my motto. Seems to justiofy any rash behaviour to my wife, including car purchases.

Mel offered me a fair techincal deal but would only take one car @ a very low price. Now which dealer would still be awake @ 1am to deal? I don't mind selling cheap as long as I can buy cheap too :D

I sold both cars to my friends who are firstimers & one almost bought the black 308 so mine are naturally good choices since they're both daily drivers & done up. I got very fair prices for both & much higher than any dealers would take though Motorway always took them in for the same price as well. But it is definitely not easy to sell two COEd sports cars within a few days, some take months & years to move. I'm glad I got everything @ the right time.

BTW, I don't like the 599, unless those posted by Philip. 430 would be good but I can't afford that now so I must live within my means.

Can we have a head count & go for a group buy? There's some more sitting on the fence, c'mon....

Shall we have a quick meet up with owners & discuss?

well said :) - if you read my posts carefully (and not just the one immediately before), you will recall that a few weeks back I was the one who countered the suggestion that a F355 was better than a Gallardo. I was also the one who first posted pictures of the nera as well as the GV (or was it GA) special edition Murcie.

I disagreed with the F355 comment because while car liking is unquestionably a personal matter, I have actually been in the Gallardo before and when its driven ferociously esp by Euro's "chief tester" its quite a thrill and I was quite taken with the car at one point. However, I did not buy one at the end of the day because I tried to imagine how I would feel owing one and yet seeing a Ferrari drive by, esp a F 430 or F 599 and I knew that I would regret not buying the Ferrari. That is why I plan to change up to a F 430 from my current car. I would change up to a F 599 hopefully when its cheaper.

glad you understood that my comments were only tongue in cheek and that I wished you well on your purchase and hope you appreciate that these are personal views for I love Ferraris and I am sure there will be some "bullheaded" owners out there who will equally vehemently disagree with Ferraris.

As for the party of five, unfortunately he (or is it they?) mistook it as an opportunity to hurl insults (rather make any real comments) hoping to get into your good books forgetting what he has did and said previously on this post. I guess ass kissing and barking up the wrong tree will always be second nature to some. Show some class for your own sake is all I can say to him/them.

Lastly, post some pics of your new car after its been collected !!!!! and I hope you do the modified doors for that is what a Lambo is best known for.

Glad u experienced some good service. Though I am not a fan of the Gallardo, its not a bad car. Ultimately its a better choice then the 360. Just think of it as a D1 compared to a Gallardo being a D2x

Talking about that, we should share lens one day, the folks at Cathay tried to stiff me today AGAIN. So sick, next round will be B&H

I highly doubt it but if it sells I'm confident it'll be over a million dollars, probably pricier than the Murcielago.
