Hi guys, i have some serious work to be done on the 355 and was looking around for an independent service station. i need: 30K, headers replaced, brake pads, parking brake, and possibly replaincg the cats and exhaust.

im looking for either a mechanic in the area thats reasonably priced; or even better yet an experienced fellow f chatter that would walk me through the services and allow me use of his facilities to store the car during the process.
ideally, i really would like to do the services myself to become more connected with the car and avoid bringing it to a mechanic. i have the space at home, but am lacking a lift and the knowledge to do it myself.

if anyone could help me it would be GREATLY appreciated

Well it depends what "reasonably priced" means to you. All the independent Ferrari Specialists are around the same price AFAIK, not really any cheaper than a main dealer, but obviously they offer the option of skipping things a main dealer is required to do for something like a 30K. I'll let other people chip in, please feel free to do a search for info on IFS, BSC etc. There is a group here that self services, and I'll let them chime in also.

    Good luck.

A lot of people have had good luck with KTR in Ayer. If it was a 308 I would help you out, but a 355 is out of my realm of knowledge.
