What is the deal with Sauber? Kimi left in 02 for McLaren, he only had one year at Sauber as a rookie, how does Peter Sauber know how much Kimi learned at McLaren? Give the guy a break, he hasn't even tested a Ferrari yet.

Kimi will be WDC in 07.

yeah, i was thinking the same thing...how is PS qualified to make such an astute twig? Given a sufficiently fast and reliable car, i think Kimi will do great things at Ferrari...

From what I understand Kimi had very little input in the technical side even with McLaren, It was all DC and later Wurtz doing the work. Kimi seems to get in the car and drive with no BS. He adapts his driving style to cars very well. Some people change the car, others change themselves. That is Kimi's strong point. While JPM was trying to strongarm the understeering McLaren, Kimi would point the car into the corner before braking to counter-act the understeer

There are still some bad memories in Peter left because Kimi basically dumped them leaving for McLaren.

Kimi is very similar to Alonso in the way they drive the car: They're just super fast and drive around a problem rather than engineer it away. That's of course good and bad. So the real question should be: Does it matter that Kimi is like that? No is my answer since there is no other Michael Schumacher out there anyhow. Alonso is screwed at McClonk and Heikki still needs this year to learn the ropes. And the rest can't drive at Kimi's level.
