oh yeah - that was the first order of business after "don't park in the bus zone - the transit union gets on our case" (a good lesson on who really decides RCMP policy). but just for 15 over or something, maybe $50. That was back in '84 I think. I remember now - I had the All Seasons on the front, thinking that stopping and steering was more important than accelerating - route was mapped out to avoid uphill or flat snow covered sections. until the best laid plans of ....

Now that I think about it, most of my "quota interactions" have been quite entertaining. but it's been a while, I'm probably due...

Last was '04 when in the Arrest Me Red conv. Mustang Cobra: VPD cruiser behind me: I knew I was "almost too loud", "almost too fast", "almost too much wheel spin", and "almost expired plates". But was wrong on the last one, dang! but the officer was a mind-reader, I must of just "forgotten" to apply the new sticker that morning ($75 instead of the $500 if I'd forgotten to renew all together...).

 

That's not bad. When I had my learners licence I was pulled over with expired plates, totaly forgotten to renewit, luckily the officer was kind enough to just give me a warning, but I had to have the car towed back home, so that was basically the $75 fine.

 

Pulled beside a red Gallardo today on #2 rd this afternoon. Looks like a daily driver, car was filthy with salt stains. You know Italian cars, they rust from inside out.

 

Not if you wash them inside out every week.

My friend saw a dark grey 430 Spider in UBC area today. M6 Conver, black M5 in West Van

 

the black wheels hide the brake dust!

Lamborghini host schools for winter driving and they use Gallardo's. They run a course on an ice field and teach proper driving technique for inclement weather driving. They also do it with the traction control off... Weeeeeeeee!
