Saw these in Maxim today, only 1,000 made. For $20,000 my ears better have an orgasm when listening.

I've met Dave Wilson before, he is a really nice guy. He used to drive a 355 but now he has a gorgeous 550 Maranello.

Next time you see him let him know that while his speakers sound good, they don't look all that good (IMO) :D

I dont usually listen to speakers with my eyes. Sound is heard. And they sound very good.

Between this and other "high end" sound systems (maybe Bang and Olfsen, Harmon and Kardon or Bose) can you realistically tell the difference?? I would think that you would need Supermans hearing in order to tell the slight differences in the different brands. I have Bose in my car, Harmon and Kardon for home system and they both sound really incredible!! They both have incredible clarity and surround sound and the home system is like no other!! Both systems come nowhere near $135k large... The slight differences aint worth $135k IMO.... (not even close)

and my wife can't tell the difference between a ferrari, lamborghini and a Zo6. Nuff said! you don't have to have supermans hearing, just well trained hearing.

If I had 20K I would drop the TR off for belt service and go on vacation.

If you cant hear the difference between the limited frequency response of garbage manufactured by Bose and full range frequency reproduction by Wilson audio, Magnepan, B&W and other high end manufacturers, then you dont need to spend the money, anything will do.

Its the same way with cars. They all have 4 wheels and there is no difference between a Ford 500 and a Ferrari Enzo. They both will get you from point A to point B and back again. A car is a car.
