    Hello everyone.
I have just started my search for a titanium/black 360 with the 6 speed manual transmission. I would love some advice in terms of what years are best to choose for reliability, and what mods are the most important. I live in california and need the car to pass smog. I plan on driving it, but not tracking it, and want to keep it for many years. My dream car.

Does anyone know the two ti/blk ferraris at cavillino motors?
How about riverflyers ferrari? Is sounds pretty sweet.
I am open to any more leads on a clean/no story car.

    thanks
    ken

hehe.. good luck! Only took about 18 months to find mine :) ti/blk in 6 speed is a difficult color combo to find. 2001 to 2002 is a good year range vs. price level usually.

here are some pics i've posted before of my old '02 grigio titanio/black 6spd! it was a great car both in terms of reliability and looks. ironically, when i traded it in, the guy that bought it was literally one of my close friend's next door neighbor! talk about a small world... GL with your search.

Everything is for sale at the right price :)

My car isn't for sale per say.. I love it and I've spent a great deal of time getting it fixed up just like I want it - installing upgrade parts, etc. I have installed a Tubi, hyper flow cats, rear challenge grill and also fixed the alarm LED issue and gas sending unit problem common to 360's before 2002. I also installed tubi carbon fiber air box covers in the engine compartment. It has a 3M clear bra from the previous owner. Full books and records, car cover, all keys, radio security code, etc. I also installed titanium lug bolts. It has a factory 6 disc CD changer. I repaired the sun visor problem that most all 360's have (the leather comes off around the mirror). Basically, I've addressed all the little nagging issues that you get when you buy your average used 360 - and that's if it's in good condition.

The interior is black leather (technically it's known as "tinta in botte", Ferrari color #8500). I put leather cream on it twice or three times a year. It includes the leather roof option, as well as the dash plaque. It's a 6 speed manual gear box of course :) You'll go a long way before you find another 360 like this. The previous owner took great car of it. He basically left it at the dealership when he was out of town and told them to do any fixes that came down the line. I have all the records of what the dealer did to the car (variators, etc.) as well as complete records for what I have done to the car. It even has a new pollen filter! :) Let me think what else. Oh yeah, I did the alarm antenna modification, so the alarm works from more than 6 feet away :)

The car is in great shape and I drive it most every chance I get (about 3 times a week on average). It also has new rear inner tail light lens (they crack due to heat on normal 360's) and I installed LED bulbs to avoid this problem again in the future. The duct cover even has a polished horse! :)

Anyway, it's not for sale exactly.. but like I say, if you made the right offer, I might consider it :) I guess it depends on how badly you want a ti/blk 6 speed that is in great shape :) Like I say, you'll go a long way before finding a car like this unless you get really lucky :)

If you'd like to talk further, feel free to PM me any time.

    Ray

PS.. don't forget there is also a silver 360 color out there, as well as the titanium, so be careful. Silver makes the car looked a little washed out, whereas titanium really brings out the lines nicely. The color you are looking for (if you want ti) is grigio titanio Ferrari # 3238 (aka PPG paint code 36801). I don't know how many were made in titanium with black interiors (in 6 speed manual gear boxes), but I doubt it's very many. I had one heck of a time finding this car. BTW, my car has black stitching and electric seats as well.

it's the best color combo in my opinion! :) The sports seats are nice. I wouldn't mind having them, but the power seats are nice also. What else do you have on the car?

Not much else. Black interior with red stitching and cup holder (you were going to punch me), Capristo exhaust, Kenwood stereo with Sirius, rear challenge grill, a few leather things in the interior but thats about it.

Hi Ray, I just purchased a 360 titanium and black from FoSf just before xmas. First thing I did was adjust the alarm antenna wire, works great now. Saw in one of your posts that you also repaired the visor mirror. Did you send this out or do yourself? If you did yourself how did you do it? Mine has the same problem with the leather around the mirror. Thanks in advance for any info.

Whats wrong with the one at SportAuto?
01 and the price is great! They have good cars.
And the people behind the cars make them even better.

I have seen the one at SportAuto and it looks very very clean - does not appear to be abused in any way. I'll be there on saturday and will take it for a spin if you like.

    Hi David,

Yes, the one they had at F of SF was very nice from what I saw. The racing seats are cool :) My friend Tony almost bought that one, but we didn't want to have two identical cars in one small town :)

On the sun visor, I think I posted a run down on how I did it. You might try searching fchat. The problem you have is common to all 360's I think. Basically what I did was use 5 min epoxy and some clamps. Just put it in there and clamp down... then use a burnishing tool to remove the glue from the edges. It will leave a little clear plastic looking seam around the edge (where the leather meets the glass). Take some black RTV silicone and run a bead around there to give it more of a finished look. Here are a few pictures I took when I did the job myself.

BTW, if you don't mind disclosing, what did they let it go for?
