    So im trying to sell my powerbook on craig's list and here is an email I got:

    I am interested in the purchase of your displayed items[laptop] as urgent as possible for $1820I need you to send the item down to my colleague who is on an official vist to Nigeria to open the Tinapa - Africa's Premier Business Resort which is scheduled for opening on march 07,2007 and to seal international deals.

    He wrote to inform me of his official and personal belongings that got missing at the Lagos Nigeria Airport including his [laptop].

    lol yeah. I just got another one, who at least claimed they were in NJ, but it would have to be done by western union. I was like yeah sure.....

    When I posted my Contour for sale (with a blown engine) 2 years ago I received all sorts of scam bids/offers for MONTHS after it was gone. It's amazing!

    And if you check in the Rossa section, there was a thread where an FChatter was taunting similiar folks along. The scammer gave an address which I traced to the NJ Oranges...the county hospital....an empty lot.
