Started yesterday around 10:30 am. Was with a client and got a slight sore throat. Progressed throughout the day. Got up this morning and I'm stuffed up pretty bad.

I needed a break, so maybe a blessing? I still have a 10 am appointment, so my illness may have to take a back seat for a few hours. I'm couch-bound after that.

I got over the wrost of mine, be sure to check out my concoction to help it get out of your system fast.

    2 tbs Honey
    4 oz Apple juice
    2 oz Pineapple juice

    ****IMPORTANT*****
Mix these sweet items together first!

    After mixing add the following:

    1 tbs Habenero Cayenne Pepper
    2 tbs olive oil
    3 Garlic cloves
    2 tbs Apple cider vinegar
    The juice of three limes

    Combine all ingredients in blender.
Drink a portion, gargle some before swallowing. This makes about an 8 oz drink. It doesn't taste great but some things that are good for you have a drawback anyway. The habenero pepper will help sweat it out & clear your system fast, but if you are not used to it, IT WILL GET YOUR ATTENTION.
Good luck & get well soon.

With no previous symptoms, I woke up wed Jan 18th with a very bad sore throat, followed by bad body aches, fatigue, sneezing and sinus burning, and a very slight fever. All of the previous diminished somewhat through sunday and then more rapidly thereafter, but this week I have just felt like crap, no energy...today is the first day I've felt halfway decent, and am now suffering from bad indoors rot so we're going out for a couple of hours.

I'd had a flu shot in nov so it was some kind of bad cold. We had some old leftover Phenargan cough syrup...that and Advil made the sore throat and other symptoms tolerable. I didn't feel a need to go to the doc but next time i see him I'm going to get a prescription for Phenargan to keep around...I don't understand why its script-only, the kind I had is non-narcotic and not any stronger than the otc garbage like nyquil.
