Just me or does anyone else think YOUR ferrari looks better than another identical car?

Mine was sitting next to the same car, same color, 1 year diff. BUt I swear mine looked better than the other. Not sure why? I guess you are partial to your own kids.

Believe it or not I am the opposite. Mine is metallic black which really only looks good immediately after it is polished. Without that shine, it looks a little dusty or something. If it were just plain black it would look better to me.

I came within an eyelash of painting it red a couple of times. Then I found out that Ferrari only painted 24 or so 308 QV's that color (at least according to the lady on the phone at FNA).

When was this conversation? I've often wondered how many silver QVs there were. I feel the same as you though. People are always telling me how nice my car looks I always see the imperfections in it as great big giant glaring ones.

Oh I am sooo glad you never painted your car Tommy! For those who don't know, Tommy and I have virually identical cars! And yes, its an ultra rare color on the 308! Hey Tommy, I still have some great pics of our cars together at Road Atlanta! Here is a few shots of us!

If I find another Blu Medio Metallico 328 GTS, I'll have to see if it looks better. I've only seen one picture of another car...Although they started the same at the factory (saddle seats) mine now has all-black interior.

As a general rule, though, I always think everyone else's cars look better, but that's because I know where all the flaws are on mine!

In truth, I think almost everyone's 308/328 looks better up close than mine. I really need to get the front resprayed and part of the interior redyed.

Still, a ragged Ferrari in the garage is better than a pristine Corvette in the garage :D

Alas, no :( Mine usually looks worse than anyone elses. It has a few car door dings, a dent in the front from T3 at NHIS, some scrapes from siding the tire barrier at WGI entering the laces of the boot, clag marks from the track, a rear aero wing, non-OEM rims...

Glad you kept it as is.

I was told 45 328's left the factory in metallic black. FWIW, I think it's an incredible color, but like black it does need to be kept clean.

I think mine looks better, but it's probably the same logic that makes us think our kids/nephews/nieces are the cutest.

There are 3 colors I NEVER wanted my car to be: Black, Red, & Yellow. Black because you can't drive around the block after detailing it w/o it looking dirty. Yellow just isn't my style, and then there's 'Arrest Me Red' that's a hazard to your wallet & license...

My 308 is red only because I caught Ferrari fever & jumped w/o careful consideration. While it looks about as good to me as any other red 3x8 in good condition, the blueish silver (Titanium i believe) 308 that was going the opposite direction the day I drove my car home is what rings my chimes... I haven't seen it in about 4 years & wonder if it's still in the NE area.

Not that I'd consider swapping my car for it, BUT I just might repaint mine the same color if I could find out exactly what it was.

First, I love my red/tan 308 with the black louvres and the big black bumpers. The black adds much needed contrast.

But the three colors I'm not fond of on a Ferrari is Black, Yellow, and white.
Black & white because they do only look phenomenal after a wax. Yellow is lamborghini. Other colors I'm not fond of for a 308...brown or deep purple, silver (shows dirt), green (think Jaguar). Guess that leaves Dark Blue, light blue (gorgeous), and red. BTW: I didn't pick my Ferrari, it picked me so it's a good thing I like it :)

Mine is lower than usual, which makes it look all the meaner. I get comments on that all the time.

Uh, I see white and black -- looks like you're hitting for both teams here. ;)

Feel the power of the dark underside...

The 308/328 is a very rare design in the sense that it looks absolutely beautiful in so many colors: black, white, red, all shades of blue, yellow, silver, maroon...even brown.

Red and black are still my favs (even though mine is blue.)

308/328 Series look absolutely stunning in white. Great color for the car.

I think the best look is the 76-77 GTB in yellow. Purest form to me. My third favorite is marrone (my first ride in one was that color)
