If it's not rude, where did you buy it? I don't recognise the car.

    She's a beauty!!!

And her big sister's not a bad looking deal, either.

Good luck, and welcome to the Dino club. Nothing better than a nice drive in a 246GT.

Don't forget to visit www.dinoregister.com and give Matthias the updated information about your car.

Congrats! For me, a red 246 in GT configuration is really the purest version of the series. Perfect stablemate and a perfect setting..............I can almost hear the cars crunching along the gravel drive.

Andy, Thats uncanny, theres some guy on a UK based F-car chat site with a pair of cars VERY similar to yours. Small world, welcome here to our little Dino family. Must say they look stunning together, It's almost like your F40 has his arm round his smaller(although older) brother!
    Regards G.P.

Congratulations on a pair of lovelies.
You're probably aware that these are two of the most stylish and sought after Ferraris in recent times.

There are two local F40's and half of the fun is driving behind them when the wastegate dumps and the flames exit the exhaust. My Euro Dino has a Tubi exhaust and I've been told by several observers that "it sounds better than most V-12s" and "...there were small flames out the rear exhaust on downshifts".

    Drive on mate!

What's the chassis number? Ours was originally an 'M' registration as well.

Didn't know you knew every car???

The car was a private and only on the market for 1 day before i put deposit on it and the car removed from sale. Car is not a concours winner but a good useable car that I can drive and not worry about.

I take it you are looking to buy one?

Thanks for the link. Will be doing this soon.

Interesting to see the first owner was the Jaguar works driver, Ian Stewart, in the 1950's and Ferrari dealer back up in Scotland near where I used to live. I am currently reading a book about Jim Clark and he mentions seeing Ian Steward race in the 50s. Strange how it links up...

Chassis numbe 06414 in case you look.

I do know (pretty much) every car that's been offered for sale in the UK over the past 7 years and all auctioned since 1998 - I'm doing academic research that happens to be using the Dino market as a model, hence the question.

In part this interest also reflects the fact that I'm flirting with the idea of going retro and swapping out of my 550 for something with more character.

Beautiful Car! I like the fact that there are no Ferrari badges on it as it should be.

regardless of the "period or maybe later" ferrari add-ons, the car looks great. it is interesting to see the dicotomy of the dino and f40. cars with similar backgrounds, but designed for oh so many different things.
