If you're in the kind of position to be buying a used Ferrari race car, shouldn't you already have the means to get in contact with Maranello by yourself?

Keep us apprised of your search. One of the British car shows did a spot on a gentleman buying one of schumi's prior cars. Great bit. He called his mom at the end of it. An f-2003(?) or perhaps F2001(?), Can't recall.

Besides being wickedly profitable, the factory recognized that the modern F1 cars are virtually unusable (maintain, start, tune, repaired, etc.) without factory support. There is some anecdotal evidence that the market value of these cars has been buoyed by the corsa cliente program. You now get more than a gigantic paperweight for your $600K-1.2M......you get a car which can be driven....OK, at least driven by someone with better skills than my own! Contact the factory as 410SA suggested, or have your dealer make the introduction.

BTW, chris2k2 on the NFSCars forum.....same guy do you think??

All F-1 purchases have to be cleared through Ferrari-Chat first!

I think starting a collection with an F-1 car is all the statement he needs to make.;)
