    Need to coordinate with a transporter this week.

    Where in NJ could I arrange to meet him?

    Looking for a open spot preferably somewhere close to the City.

    what time of day?

    if i was you, i think that the best spot would be where f-chat has hosted the very large 100+ exotic meets. it's right out of the lincoln tunnel and a big open space, provided you do this in the morning.

    another good point is its relatively center location with access to major highways near-by. (for the transporter)

    a rest stop on the turnpike would probably be best. lots of open space and right on the highway they would probably get on anyway.

    You are welcome to have him come to my house. I'll be home this weekend. The roads aren't the straightest, so if it's a big truck, he may have trouble with some of the country roads.

    I'm sure you thought of this, but if you are going to do the pick-up at a Turnpike rest area, make it the Vince Lombardi rest area. It's after the tolls at 18W. Otherwise, if you unload the car at one of the areas on the Turnpike, you will have trouble getting off as you won't have a toll ticket or EZ-Pass entry on your record.
