    I posted this in the 308 section and people recommended throwing it here as well:

    Specifcally,
    1. What is a fair price for an 84 euro spec 308?
    2. Did they goof something when installing the tubi exhaust? The back doesn't look normal to me.
    3. Anybody know a good mechanic for a PPI in Georgetown SC?
    4. Can you put 328 rims on these 308s? I love those rims.
    5. Any general comments would help.

    Hi Reid,

    I know the car you can see some of its history on www.308qvregister.com
    fair price for this car would be about $35, I know Sal is asking $45 the car is over priced a bit. The tubi is installed correctly, it look different because the Euro cars did not come with the exhaust cover like the US cars did, it is open like that from the factory. Yes you can put the 328 rims on the 308 . I saw the car a few months ago and it is very clean, probably above average but not worth $45k

    If you pass on this one, give me a call I have a very nice 85 QV US car with a new interior kit red/tan for $37

    good luck in your hunt for a 308...they are fantastic cars. i bought my 83 gtb w/ 4k original miles and found it to be all i had hoped it would be. not as fast os my 930 ( but what is?) but such a sexy complete package. there are few cars in the same league price considered.

    Brinzey.... who you foolin'??? You can't fit in a 308 GTB!!!! Did you have to cut a sunroof, or just mount the seat directly on the floor board. ;-)

    brian, i actually fit better in the 308 than i do in the boxer. in the boxer i get the charlie horse due to the shifter! now in a porsche 911...i feel like i am in first class!!
