Aussie Ferrari Spotters Thread??

Had a few beers at 'Brodies Bar', in Southport yesterday afternoon and saw a black 599 with "GTB" plates on it. Came past slow, went around the round about and then put down the loud pedal. Looked and sounded NUTS! Love that car. Looks gorgeous in person. Just got my camera out, but was too late.

Saw today, a red 328 Gts leaving geelong, and also a yellow 348tb, a red 355 spyder. All looking lovley of course!

 

I saw a "Real Michael Schumacher Ferrari"!! Punch me in da face!

It was red with black interior and had Schumacher gearbox. It was making strange noises while it was trying to park...(squeaking noises..) @ BLS.

 

Well PP..............I saw it 20 metres before the round about, started getting camera out of my tight jeans , then after he turned right around the round about, he put the pedal to the metal and he was gone. Very quick car. Sounded sweet too.

I also saw my 1st 550 Maranello today. Great looking car in person. Red/tan 6 speed with Tubi. Sounded awesome. Had a really good look at it. Car is for sale.

Ah huh. This 550 had a nice growl at idle when we fired it up. Would have loved to give it a rev, if it was warmed up and was not in a garage where it would have gased us to death. At full noise I am sure it would sound like a banshee mating call. Awesome machine. Would be a monster on the road. That big torquey V12. Grrrrrr.

Spotted the yellow 430 Hairdresser spec (AL 430) again, this time on the Cafe strip in Keilor road Niddrie. Sure is getting his moneys worth out of it, must be the 10th time I have seen it.

This morning I spotted a late spec 575 (red, what a surprise) outside the keilor village pub. Most likely the car is owned by Ray Dodd whose family has owned the pub forever (literally).

As I said yesterday, lots and lots of nice metal in the Western Suburbs these days.

 

yeah they reckon the western oval is looking a bit rusty, been stripped for some nice galv fencing in the district

when Dino's were new I lived within 400 metres of two metallic blue examples, not that piss-weak blue on Giovanni's car but that lovely darkish metallic blue they came out in, one belonged to Bob Walker the local Chrysler dealer and the other belonged to the local pre-school owner, they looked well out of place in Liverpool then but now would just be considered drug dealer cars

 

Lunchtime in Perth city. Dark blue 430 spyder on St George's Tce. This car was the first 430 delivered in WA and was at the national FCA rally late 2005.
