I am REALLY excited to watch the F1 season this year. With all the drivers being switched around, MS out, new cars, the new tire rule, and all the drama between the teams.... I think it should be very entertaining.

I think Renault, Ferrari, and Mercedes will all be very strong teams and we'll have some fantastic battles on the track... a new era for F1 and a great time to be a fan.

I totally agree. This will be a VERY exciting year. Has McLaren finally gotten their act together? Will Kimi do well in red? Is Renault anything without Alonso? These questions will all be answered in the first few races.

    Kimi: 2007 WDC
    Ferrari: 2007 WCC

Don't forget about BMW. They may have a trick or two up their sleeve with that new super computer of theirs and all. I wanna see if Kovalainen can take his team mate or if he can fight with Renault's other hot shot driver Hamilton.

If you switch Button for Hamilton, we have an agreement. :)

There is not a snowball's chance in hell that Kubica and Hamilton finish in the top 5, and even less so that Rosberg and Webber finish in the top 10.

It will be an exciting season for sure. Many drivers have changed steeds. It will be fun to watch for sure. And we have Spa back on the calendar. :) Sadly Suzuka and Imola are gone.

The negative to me is that Kimi is not getting enough seat time in the F2007. This is worrying me.

Hard rev limit this year: "yawn". ...Worse concessions to spec racing are in the pipeline.

F1 is done in all but name, eventually it will be attractive to none but the NASCAR crowd.

Any insight into what happened to Kimi's car yesterday?

How did the car look on the track?

    Hi

    Thanks for the comments.
It was fun indeed to see them testing. Normally testing doesn't attract many people but since last year the Valencia circuit makes it an actual event.
I've heard that there was about 20 000 visitors in total.

Although it is too early to compare, during the week Alonso did the best times.
Also important is that many times they had a wet track.
Today the teams did the last laps and kimi did well with a second time after Hamilton.

1.- Lewis Hamilton GBR McLaren 1.11.119 112 vueltas
2.- Kimi Raikkonen FIN Ferrari 1.11.855 112 vueltas
3.- Robert Kubica POL BMW Sauber 1.12.242 57 vueltas
4.- Pedro M. de la Rosa ESP McLaren 1.12.455 64 vueltas
    5.- Giancarlo Fisichella ITA Renault F1 1.12.572 96 vueltas
6.- Sebastián Vettel ALE BMW Sauber 1.12.675 73 vueltas
    7.- Heikki Kovalainen FIN Renault F1 1.12.679 98 vueltas
8.- Mark Webber AUS Red Bull 1.12.776 23 vueltas
9.- Jenson Button GBR Honda 1.12.995 89 vueltas

    (vueltas-laps)

Ps. to Schatten; thanks, funny interview with kimi that is! This time he went from the Technogym truck back to the pits.

I'm interested to see if Kimi will find a way to blow up the Ferrari engine.
