hehe....My cute Kodak DX7590 I would buy an SLR but have a lot of things i need to take care of before...but look forward to it pretty soon, birthdays this coming month.
moments from the past.... there were several Red 355 spyders thru my hands from 1997-early 2000 and these are pics from various film sets...a few are from the shoot where we had the "pleasure?"of giving actress Tracey Bingham who had very little stick shift trans experience a "refresher course"..fortunately we where shooting out on Mulholland Drive in Malibu had CHP escorts to block road etc..after finishing one of her scenes here she comes out in this little mini robe and lingerie get-up and gets in the passenger seat...we wont have the chp for this as they are off at the other part of the shoot so as we roll off and i explain the basics she was quite attentive and once strapped in and a deep breath off we go ....about 45 feet.like in every commercial every seen where the person cant drive a stick. that jerky clutch lash thing when not enough throttle is applied before she stalled it(in a blind corner!!!) so as im looking in her driver door mirror for that suv to come flying around that curve and take us out along with admiring one hell of a cleavage shot thru a now very open robe!!!so now im thinking if that suv does come around that curve i know where my face in going!!!.fortunately she kept her head and quickly refires it so i tell her to rev it up a bit before she lifts her clutch foot and she just dumps the clutch at about 4 grand..and as i tell her shift points she then goes thru the gears perfectly... once she had her confidence it was a real ride in the country for me my eyes were everywhere but where they shouldve been!!. this was a real fun shoot....i mean we had the cops blocking the road from just east of Kanan RD to the "Rock Store".. and other than wearing a womans wig i spent hours running up and down the best parts of Mulholland play racing one of my crew driving the Porshce 911!!! i wasnt too thrilled about the off road scenes later in the day but they threw enough money at me to shut me up...i wasnt that concerned really cause if anything got damaged it was going straight to Dave at Premier..and my contract always includes a full mechanical inspection after any "driving" film shoot heres a link to the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOnb9NGjcc8 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
