    Welcome to Ferrarichat mate. :)
That lip came on the 348 SS cars. Not sure where you can get one from now, but maybe you can get one made at a good panel/fibre glass shop? Get one made/moulded onto your 348 front bar. Or look around and buy an SS bar. :):)

Phil, is that a current picture of your white Spider? The wheels are on the wrong sides of the car. I point that out JUST IN CASE you aren't aware of it, not to be a jerk, and JUST IN CASE you have tires with directional tread and they are also backwards.

Just to expand a little on being a jerk:D(joking):D Why are the 348 wheels handed? Is there any relevance function wise in there design? I often hear people comment on 348 wheels being on the wrong way.

I'm not sure whether the wheel design is supposed to be extracting hot air from the brakes from the inside out, or drawing cool air to the brakes from the outside in. Either way, I doubt if there is a measureable effect, it's just a styling cue. But the fact remains, the four wheels are different, and each particular wheel belongs on its own particular corner, or else someone like me will feel obliged to point it out.

If the tires have directional tread, they should be mounted in the correct direction on the correct wheel, and NOT rotated side to side.

    Hi Jeff,

No problems, I know they are wrong. The car came that way with the directional Dunlops fitted to the wrong wheels so I decided to wear the tyres out before changing the wheels around. The pic is from 2005 on its way to Monte Carlo after 500 miles, hence all the bugs on the front bumper and mirrors. No problems with the brakes with the wheels being on the wrong way either!!

Current state of the car is minus engine due to complete overhaul and cam belt service, see my thread 348 engine pictures.

    Regards,
    Phil.
