Aww.. jealousy rears it's ugly head.

Take a look at the education level of the Forbes 500 and let me know just how important a college degree really is- some people just know.

    Good luck nursing that grudge.

What a quack. ZR1 needs to get out more, and find a different hobby than Gastronomy.

"Hey, my name is ZR1 and I'm a poor idiot with no future, so I'll just spend my time *****ing at people on the internet because we all know they can't see me anyway, besides, it makes me feel like a man to call out those trust fund babies"

I don't see what part of "John worked for what he has" is so hard to understand? Makes sense to me, really.

if anything i would thank john for having acted like that.

It seems like he [john] is the opposite of that sales guy. He went through bullsh!t from a snobby salesperson and saw it through. in my mind, i think the reason why he's so willing to share his things with others is a result of the way that salesman treated him back then. He WANTS to let people ride along with him, sit in his cars, look at them, touch them, whatever, because apparently, he wasn't allowed to, just because of what one person that didn't actually talk to him and find out what he was all about. John talks to most everyone here!

as for being "ghetto" -- what the hell?

if anything, it shows that he's a real person, not some pompous ass who thinks he's better than everyone else because he's got cars and other things that most people only dream of having. It's very easy to put that caliber of person on a pedestal because of their possessions, but he brings himself back down to earth and mingles with us "common folk" ;)

Speaking as a wife, absoflippingwellfor it! Why would anyone want babies and yucky nappies when you could have a Ferrari??? My OH (Judas) and I have just purchased a 348 as a Christmas pressie to ourselves. Best one EVER :D

Been out in it today on my own (a gloriously sunny dry winters day here in the UK) round our local 'circuit' and I am falling totally in love with it. Utterly sublime to drive.

    PS I am 37.

"Every thing in our (human) world was first created in the minds of men and women." - Phillip Allott

Enzo thought Ferrari - he created it. we love 'em.

    As LV Eric said,
"thats why you dont have an Enzo because you judge people too fast "

I've seen the movie what the bleep, and there is something that I think LV eric and yellow enzo are tapping into here that is great & really important for all of us, especially given the state of the world

    "don't judge"

We all react, but not giving into it and creating a space between the event and how we chose to respond.... that's the magic space where all our Enzo's lie in the 21st C IMHO

I made a New Year's resolution to get my first ferrari at the age of 38 - which starts in a few days. I just came back from making a presentation to a couple of very well connected guys in Florida. It went great and if we pull it off it's going to be big and reduce degenerative disease rates in a sensible way - nail the cause not symptom. And as I have not been well (often), I just work so that others will not have to go through what I did. Happily, I've always beaten it back and when I finally got real well and started winning events (I play sport for a living) I got rear ended by a truck two days after my personal best. Never played since. (will do so though, count on it. I'll beat this one back too)

Poor me? no, that's not my point, I mean I could be in Iraq having my legs blwon off because someone judged someone or something rather than finding a different way, or in darfur or...you get the point. So I'm lucky.

But what underlies all these situations is judging people. For even when we find something negative. One can observe that without nailing the person - what i mean is you still judge but not in any judgmental way, and then love or positiove energy still shines through.

whether it's the love Enzo had for creating his cars, or for saints, even loving the people who piss us off. It's hard, but leaving our stuff behind and becoming a better 'model' each time we enjoy a moment - Being & Time - is IMHO all we have to do.

And arguably more so than ever now; we are all in this together. So I try not to judge, I try to take responsibility and amap leave people better than i found them. And as yellow enzo says, sure we are all *******s - in that I think (correct me if I'm wrong YE / John?) he meant, we've all got stuff, no one's perfect but it's the tossing of stones that nails us and hurts us all.

IMHO - Beethoven 9 says it all - and man, he was deaf when he did it.

So back to the ferrari part of the story, I took a day off after my presentation as my head was needing a break and then went to take a test drive. And you know those attitides Yellow enzo was referring to - guess what, they are there, and it's their judgment of someone walking in - with that judgmental element to it - is why I think that south park energy or what yellow enzo did at age 18 connects and speaks to so many people in quite a profound way.

Don't judge again..., but it happens so much and that was and should be the old game, the new game should be our choices in space between our reaction and expressing it and get that right

enter stage left 'what the bleep' or 'the secret'

and that's the golden moment that creates your own personal enzo whether it be a real one if you want that, or saving a marriage, or whatever it is we want - you polish the soul, the collective repays you 1,000 fold.

And maybe you only get the proverbial "t-shirt" when you are down to your last 28 dollars with 8 years of work and Trump like debt on the line, and someone you trust and are relying on to keep their word looks like they might be pulling out on you - you step back from judging and you send them love from your heart.

And it leaves both of you better than you started, in ways far more important than money...

    best...

So even though I'm not quite 38 yet.

    First ferrari - age 38.

And given my situation, that is real faith. Walking the talk.

Old enough to know better to young to resist!
It was a case if not now, when?
2 years ago and never looked back.
Spending the kid's inheritence, of course gave them room and board for 24 years.
    Think I earned it.
