Ordered new chrome horses for my 348. Front and back. Had them on within an hour of them arriving. :) Had to make a bracket for the front one. Took maybe 20 minutes. Easy to make out of sheet aluminum. Painted it semi gloss black. My 348 had a black horse on the back. Had to have a chrome rear grill horse and a chrome horse on the front grill. Absolutely one of the fist things I had to do to my 348. Next are the windows. Winter here now so I have plenty of time. Looks proper now with a chrome front and a chrome rear horse. I think this is probably the only change I will make to the outside of my 348. I tend to like the black top and black skirting. I think I'll leave it as is. Not totally fond of the antenna sticking out of the roof but I may never change that. Unlike some I like the stock rims. I would never change them.

What are you going to do with the black pony you took off the rear?

I'll probably sell my original black horse. It is like new. I don't think I really have a use for it. Maybe as a decoration maybe. Ebay? Wonder what it is worth?

Now we see what the one that came off looks like, may we see the new look?

    :)

If you have to wait until after the Super Bowl, I'll understand. Just throw us a friggin' bone here! :)

I don't blame you. I think we're finally above 0 this morning, but it's -18 to -20 windchill factor. It is so cold that I went to turn the volume down on the radio and the knob was hard to turn.

    I'm ready for SUMMER!

When I was in Breckenridge Co. skiing a few years back, the temp along with the wind chill at the top was -37 F. There were warnings to cover all exposed skin for fear of frostbite. So cold it froze the little rubber wheels and bearings in my camcorder.

I only made 1 run that day before hitting my favorite pub to warm up.

Why don't you guys in the big freeze move to Pap territory in Mt Isa, Australia. It's much warmer there !

MY suggestion for the black horse is to thread it on a gold rope chain and offer it on EBay as Ferrari Bling. You should easily make back your cost for the silver ponies.

Reoriginals has amber/clear complete assemblies for $275 each. My amber/ambers should be worth how much?

Checked reoriginals web page. They did list them for $190 each. They list them as no stock now. Just looking for a fair market price for them. As far as I know they are not available new from anyone, am I correct? All you can get now are reproduction lenses. Not new housings.
