Driving down the 75 S with my girlfriend....doing about 55 MPH...just chilling. There is a Dodge Neon quite a way ahead of us...not near enough for me to notice the car make immediately. Then what seems to be a bumper or something seems to fall of and roll on the freeway. I hardly bat an eye and because it seems flimsy I am not concerned for any damage to my car and I stay calm...dont change my trajectory much but steer gradually and cleanly away as it loses momentum and tumbles in my direction. I have to go onto the shoulder to avoid it. That is when I notice that what seemed to be some sort of debris on the freeway is actually a blonde petite girl, tumbling at about 60MPH.

To call this shocking would be an understatement. My girlfriend got on 911 and I took the next exit and came back round. The Neon had stopped and some guy (who for some reason looked more pissed than afraid) walked back out onto where the girl had stopped. When we came back round, they were walking back to the car (WTF?) and I think the shock was holding her up. I cannot see how the cars behind us didn't run her over....whats worse is that some guy in a Mustang Cobra passed at the speed of light inches from where she lay.

You never know what will fall of those Dodges, I tell you....

That's a crazy story. Did you see visible blood? To get up and walk it off is nuts.

Perhaps a Shock, adrenaline, rage, and alcohol cocktail was a contributing factor.
Bike riders seem to enjoy this kind of exercise but of course they wear leathers.

And right when the tumbling blonde started to swerve into the fast lane, another tumbling blonde cut her off!

My uncle had the flu and was driving home from work on a major freeway. Coughed up a ball of pleghm that went down his airpipe - choking, he passed out in about 6-8 seconds. Pickup smashed through the concrete dividers and hit an oncoming car head-on. His truck spun and the force pulled his ~320lb body so hard it yanked the seatbelt from its bolsters and he flew into the passenger door with enough force that the door bent in half - staying locked shut but the top half peeling open. He was ejected from the truck and skittered along the freeway.

Somewhere in all that the phlegm got knocked loose and he started breathing again. When the paramedics arrived, he stood up and walked to the ambulance.

Here is a video of an major league ejection. If he had not survived, he would be a prime Darwin award winner. It is not very pretty and not for the weak at heart. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj8TXPLGEh4

Note -- not even close to 165, lame post-production voice over

Note 2 -- when the title said Of Rolling Blondes, this wasn't the thread I was expecting to read :)
