Please point out where I said anything about Texas roads that made me sound like a dumb ass.

Gotta pipe in here Rob, a ban seems a little harsh. IMO, Mike was only stating his opinions about roads based on pictures and videos.

They don't look special to him. So what? 6 hours IS a long drive for fun roads, especially if you have the hill country 30 minutes away.

Again, his opinion. He's entitled. He even admits there are better roads out there. But it's hard to tell anything from a video on the internet. I don't see any blatant attacks here.

Hopefully it was more than just this. I'm not trying to get in the middle of anything, just offering my outside perspective.

Banned him permanently? Oh now that was just a bit extreme. Mike was a great contributor to this website. Hate to see him go over something as trivial as a” Who’s roads are better?” conversation. Even if he was a bug up your ass, that was being a bit ridiculous.

 

Maybe you could reconsider Rob. As Wes said and john, Mike is a great guy, he has contributed a lot to this website, including numerous photos that everyone enjoys.

Did you choose this ban because he has been a bug personally, or because he has been a pain or problem to everyone at Fchat?

He's a good guy, I think all the good things that he has contributed to this site overcomes the tension between yall two.

I have personally known Mike for a year or so now, he is a great guy.

It's my fault that Mike hasn't contacted you yet.... I had been talking things over with him and then I got extremely busy in the last week and a half getting ready/returning to the US and wasn't able to get back with him. I'm in Oregon right now but will get back with Mike hopefully later today.

 

Can Mark or someone cull this thread? Seems subscribed forum best for this stuff after the dust settles, and it is rude to Easyrider. I felt I had to respond to the "making **** up" accusation by the forum owner, otherwise I'd be done with this trainwreck.

Yep. We're the only 2 with a problem with Art. No doubt. And he still whines about PDX banning him.
FYI, MM's problem was a different time and place than my problem with him.
You guys banned him from P&R as well, if you recall, so guess our "bickering" wasn't the only problem, as I don't go to P&R. I pretty much ignored him, still do until this BS trickled over to another forum and he started whining about being banned in a thread discussing Mike.
I am really stunned you reacted how you did, where you did, and remain defensive. Someone elsewhere suggested Mia is sleep depriving you, I understand that. You're OK by me, we both annoy one another at times, but both of us have personal integrity. Art doesn't IMO. So don't accuse me of "making **** up" or Art will tell you your meds need adjusting. <-inside smilie, non-obligatory.

I have no idea what you're talking about, I was very supportive and glad for you starting a family, we traded quite a few PM/EM's over it. As I wrote you then, kids are the greatest thing that will ever happen to you. MY family was brought in here (Zman, Chambers) and not a damn thing happened. Same old same old indeed, except I didn't threaten anyone then or now. You were defensive both now and then, even when it was my family.

Sorry I bothered with any of this, it was your fight with TX Mike in someone else's thread, not mine.
