How desirable is a Black on Black 355GTS

    So I really would like to add a 355 GTS to my stable, but like many of you know they are hard to find. My 360 is yellow, so I was thinking I would like to get a red/tan 355 GTS (who doesn't want one like this). Anyways, came across a nice Black on Black manual 1997 355 GTS with 25k miles, up to date service with records including new clutch and valve guides. What's it worth and how desirable would the resale be in these colors whenever I chose to sell it if ever?

    black on black is not a very common color for a 355 gts, ususally they are red/yellow or black/tan int.

    Do you like black/black? If you want red/tan, it's not worth what they're asking.

    (Black seems to be a strong resale color in general. I prefer tan interiors, but it's not like you're looking at metallic green over grey or something sale-proof...)

    I don't know what it is worth where you are. Resale could certainly be slow - compared to a red/tan. I can imagine it being a really beautiful car. 355s are great. You might enjoy it more than the 360.

    I guess you're tempted by the black/black or you wouldn't have posted. Hope something works out. If you really prefer a red/tan GTS, it should be just a matter of waiting for one? Regards, Pete

    Thanks for your replies, I might be able to get this car for $70k so it is very tempting. Lets see, Black/Black GTS or Red/tan Coupe?
