    I HIGHLY recommend adding a bolt-on supercharger.
My Mondial-8 was pretty sluggish until I added some extra horsepower.

    Now it's as fast as a 348!

Carl's kit has every part in it you need and comes with a great installation manual with lots of photos.
    Check it out here:

I had mine repaired by a local clock repair shop for $50. Check your local phone book. (Just DON'T tell him it's for a Ferrari ) He just changed the lense on mine.

I recently received a parts list from Verell's Unobtainium Supply Co.

I'm absolutely amazed at the large amount of NLA parts Verell now sourcing,
also, he repairs column(headlight) switches & targa top latches!

Unobtainium doesn't have a web site yet. So I thought I'd post a list of the
'unobtainium' he supplies here where people are likely to find it. I didn't
put prices in the list as they could change over time.

Verell is constantly adding products, so if you don't see something here,
    send him eMAIL:

    Verell(at)UnobtainiumSupply(dot)com

Unobtainium takes PayPal sent to: Orders(at)UnobtainiumSupply(dot)com

Or, you can send checks or money orders made out to:

When my right vent control bezel broke, all I could find was used plastic pieces, at ridiculous prices. After receiving two new bezels from Unobtanium, I was so impressed with the quality and finish, I bought the rest of the set. They are WAY better than stock.

The quality is at a minimum equal to stock parts and in most cases a superior part.
Communication and price are also first rate.

There is also a wild rumor that he is working on “noweightium”

    Thanks Verell,

    chris

Thought I would post some links for cloth braided fuel hoses for a U.S. 85 308 QV for anyone interested.

just did all of my fuel, smog, and vapor hoses recently and used a variety of sources to also retain the cloth covered hose. Here are some links I used for cloth covered hoses in a variety of sizes:

    19mm- www.hiperformancestore.com/hosebyfoot.htm

    7mm- www.autohausaz.com/

    5, 7.5, 10, 15, 19, 22mm- www.newcoproducts.com/new/cohline/hoses.php

    6, 9mm- www.pelicanparts.com

16mm Cavis clear hose, 20mm cloth braided hose- www.italiancarparts.com/parts/308.html#hoses

I used non-braided 5/8 fuel hose on the vent tube connectors on the firewall, cloth braided 7.5mm for the cloth vent hose which runs the length of the firewall, and Dave Helms hoses for the filler neck, tank to fuel pump, and crossover hoses at the bottom of the car between the tanks.

Oh, and lastly I bought new steel braided plastic lines from Verrell on the board.

I used the different sources for availability and costs. Hope this helps!
