It's only February and I am going nuts that I can't drive... No, I don't take any of the cars out once salt hits the ground - but boy am I tempted....

How are all of you holding up?!

    Just don't stop Stu - :D

With newer cars, a nice wash down is generally all that's required.

Unless there's ice / snow on the roads, my cars get driven.

Contrary to popular belief, these cars do all right in this weather and with these roads. - ;)

+1 I agree with vik. If cars werent meant to be driven they wouldnt come with a motor. Drive your cars! You know if i had a license I would be out destroying the roads right now:)

I'm not worried about driving my 997S Cab in the winter - but just can't seem to push myself to drive the EXPENSIVE cars; Carrera GT, CS, and all of the OLD Porsches...

For now - it's just the 997S and '07 Suburban 2500 till some of the salt gets washed away..

I guess I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Concours nerd... Just ask any of the closet Porsche folks here on the list!

I agree partly. The old cars or cars that would get damaged by the snow you dont take out. I am not saying drive the ferrari into the center of a tornado, but even if there is now out or something, you can drive the CS. Perhaps the CGT I wouldnt take out cause of the massive power (perhaps with snow shoes on it:) )

I would stay away from driving any of the old Porsches, because they have no rust-proofing, but I would definitely drive one of your newer cars.

I get my 355 back on Saturday morning and I CAN'T WAIT to drive it around a bit. I'll just give it a wash-down afterwards ;)

Now get out there and go for a drive!!! And then spray down the underside of your car ;)
