Well I started to get the itch and since it was a nice clear day decided to go for a ride.

Yes, I know many of you will give me a hard time because of the salt on the roads but, trust me if I would have had to mount a snow plow my car I would have done it to get out.

    Man I love my car...

    Anyone else get out today?

I took out mine yesterday for a wonderful run on the back CT roads, in the area of Kent and Lime Rock. It was great!!!! Roads are dry, no cars and what is more important; no cops.
I do drive my Marcello all winter long. The only weekend that he is in a garage is when it snows. There is nothing better than a winter drive!!!!
If any one of you want to join me next weekend then just raise your hand:)

Tim - You did the right thing - We have clean salt free lanes, but the shoulders are loaded with salt - I still am thinking that I need to get out tomorrow - last forecast was snow on Wednesday.

Ludmilla - wish I was closer. I'd join up for a drive.

Can't blame you, I did the same thing.
Early Sunday mornings + very light traffic + cold air = good times.

    Yes it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It could be even better if someone joined me. As for now, I go for a magnificent ride with a teddy bear who is my best navigator. She does not get stomach sick on the twistes.
I will be on the road next weekend:) Are you tempted?????

Are you in NY? If so that is a bit far for me this time of year.

    I don't think your crazy....
The salt ?it's not like it's wet and sticking ....
Look at this way...when's the last time you rolled over in the morning and she "just started right up", no foreplay needed and she took you to the "rev limiter"

I am from NYC, but my Marcello lives in my CT house on the lake near Danbury. So you are not too far... Also, some of my driving Buddies from NJ and NY want to come. I am already in CT and will be here until Monday evening.
Anybody wants to PLAY? How about tomorrow?
