    I have heard this rumour. I think it's because the P4/5 is not a Ferrari Product. Mattel have a licensing deal with Ferrari where as the P4/5 is a one off built by Pininfirina.

    If I am correct, Jim and Pininfarina are in the process of licensing the P4/5 to modelbuilders. I do believe the P4/5 is officially recognized by Ferrari, so it is entitled to wear Ferrari-badges, but I'm not sure this means Ferrari will have a say in who will be building the miniatures.

    I am hoping that there will at least be a handbuilt 1:43.
