Well gang, i'm leaving for Florida. Who knows how long.

I'll be driving down, and no not with the 308 but with the Expedition.

I'll keep in touch with my route.

Finally stoped for gas at last exit on NJ Pike.

How's my time? Left the house at 9:30 and got here at 3:30.

Well, i got to get my money ready for all the tolls that are coming up.

what part of florida you going. just took a mini vaca weekend. left on friday am and got back sunday night from miami. doing it all over again next month love the place.

 

Took 8hrs to DC and slept a hour at Virginia.

South of the Boarder !!! I just had a flashback of being 8 years old in the back of my Dad's 1974 Chevy Estate Wagon cruising down i-95 to Disney every February and August.

Pit stop at Orlando 11:30pm

I lived in GA for ten years- and I left because of the heat!!

Also- I go down to Sanibel Island every May to fish for a week- it's quite a mecca!

I used to Live in Charleston, SC....I remember that little Stripper's bar off of I-95 in North Carolina well....there's another one in GA/FL off of I-95 somewhere, too....the burgers there are to be avoided. If you like cigars, JRs in NC is not to be missed.....carry on.
