The Concorso Arizona is returning on April 14th. It's the largest gathering of Ferrari enthusiasts in Arizona. If you're in Cali or Nevada this is an easy trip to make to the beautiful Sonoran Desert of the Phoenix area. The event will be held on Saturday, April 14th from 9am to 3pm at Tempe's Diablo Stadium. There are many other activities planned in conjunction with Concorso Arizona including the 17th Annual Bell Lexus Copperstate 1000 on Sunday. To see what's planned and to keep up with what's been added, check out the Concorso Arizona website at www.concorsoarizona.com. All proceeds from the event go to the Ronald McDonald House.

I expect we'll have a pretty large group (of people and cars) coming down from Vegas for the Concorso. I'll be driving in the Copperstate afterwards.

I believe that other Italian cars (and motorcycles) are welcome, but that only Ferraris are eligible for judging.

If you want more info, contact Fchat user Dogue (Terry). He is the local FCA membership director and can get you situated with car entry into the show.

EDIT: His contact info is on the registration info on the Concorso Arizona website.

Thanks for the plug guys. We have a great show coming up. Please check out our website for registration forms. The show is open to all Italian Crafted Vehicles, but just like Bob stated only judging for Ferraris (10years old and older). This event will start out on a Friday with a Reception at Scottsdale Ferrari. Saturday morning will be the Concorso with an awards dinner Saturday evening and Sunday we will take a back roads drive to Prescott, following the Copperstate Rally cars. Any questions please PM me or call me 602.717.0802.

    Thanks,
    Terry

Will it cost anything for spectators to get in and view the cars? If so, how much?

    Thank you!

As Bob and Terry have stated, others of Italian lineage are certainly welcome (Terry should know since he's running the show). I will have my F430 Coupe there (hopefully with the Challenge Grill installed) as well as my MV Agusta F4 1000 Corse. I may also have my Ducati 749R with all of the trick stuff bolted on (if I can find the time to actually bolt the stuff on...and it still runs by the time I'm done with it <g>). I'll be in the booth of the lead sponsor for the Concorso Arizona...can't be named here...visit the Concorso Arizona site to find out more.

...On the theory that you eat and drink the same, even if your vehicle is smaller. :)

The question is valid as last year we only included FCA members (also charged them more) in the catered lunch. To make things easier and more inclusive we decided to make all things equal. The only people paying more is those being Judged, to pay for trophies.

Can someone tell me how the judging works? I know you get deductions for non-original equipment installed or lack of documentation like owners manuals, etc. but what other items do the judges ding you for? I am thinking of bringing out my 86 328 and having it judged. Thanks.

I'll be there anyway. The only problem is that with that many Ferrari's there, I will probably drool over the next one I want to get!
