No. This is the Ex-Zoltan Reti car, 1120132. Reti was part owner of the factory in 1975 (the money behind Leimer & Rossetti they say).

The only similarity between this car and mine is that it had what Trefor Thomas and Bob Wallace refer to as the 392 bhp tuned engine (Miura SV cams, bigger carburettor main jets etc). Of course the cams didnt last at all, but in the meantime it sure was fast! LOL.

My car will be back on the road next month after a full engine rebuild to original factory standard specs.

Did all 88 1/2 cars have the finned side skirts on them in front of the rear wheels? Mine is supposed to be a 88 1/2 but doesn't have them and all the ones I have seen recently have them as well. My title says 1988 but sold as a 88.5 . Just curious...

Yours is likely a 1988 model. They did not have the side skirts.

    I guess 25 models 88 1/2.... (don't they all have the electronic
type climate controls along with side skirts?)

The first and the last.... they should call that display "bookends" (stolen from the Navy)

I hate the fact that Japanese love the Countach.... at least they have good taste.

I think more like 200 88 1/2 cars worldwide. I am now told 58 for USA alone, 14 for England in RHD guise, etc. USA production was often one-third....

Anyway, here is a rare beast, an LP400S prototype coutesy of Wolf presented to us by postcard.

1/3 of the QV run in half a year?

I'll stick with my ~155.... (150 to 165 is my range).
